About Dr. Watson
Janine Watson, Ph.D. is originally from New Zealand. She joined the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1991. Dr. Watson is a clinical attending and sees patients in the Feeding disorder clinic at the Dennis Developmental Center. Her interests are in the wide variety of feeding problems in infants and young children. She uses mainly a parent training model and an approach focused of contingency management and systematic desensitization. Dr. Watson is certified in infant mental health interventions. Dr Watson supervises the psychological examiners working at the Dennis Developmental Center. She is on the training committee for the Section of Pediatric Psychology and supervises post-doctoral pediatric psychology fellows.
