About Faith A. Yam
Faith Yam has an interest in trauma-informed counseling, family systems theory and student wellness counseling. She loves relationship counseling, and is open to working with parents and children.
Yam has practiced clinical mental health counseling in several settings, including the University of Arkansas Housing Department, University of Arkansas Counseling and Psychological Services, Ozark Guidance Center School-based services, UAMS Northwest Wellness Program and UAMS Northwest Employee Assistance Program. She is originally from California.
Yam’s focus is on improving wellness and offering preventative care to help with:
- spiritual searching
- unstable self-image
- body image health
- cultural integration
- mandated counseling issues
- family relationships (individual or as a group)
She also offers group counseling to help with overall wellness, body image, perfectionism and more.
