About Dr. Hagedorn
Clinical Biography
Curt Hagedorn, M.D., is Chief of Medicine Service at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Service (CAVHS) and Professor and Vice-Chair of Medicine for the Department of Internal Medicine at UAMS. Previous to UAMS, Dr. Hagedorn was the Cartwright Endowed Professor of Medicine and Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Nev. He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., and completed his internal medicine residency training at Vanderbilt University Hospitals in Nashville, Tenn. Following his residency training, Dr. Hagedorn served three years at the National Cancer Institute, Metabolism Branch, first as a clinical associate, and then as a staff fellow.
