About Dr. Young
Clinical Biography
Dr. Young received her undergraduate education at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville where she received a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Biology. After college, she attended UAMS for medical school and then left for the University of Florida – Jacksonville to complete her residency in emergency medicine. Following residency, Dr. Young completed a fellowship in simulation education at Mayo Clinic Florida before returning to UAMS as faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is currently an assistant professor and the Director of Emergency Medicine Simulation Education.
