Medical Center Lost & Found Office

The Lost & Found Office helps connect patients, families and staff with items that have been recovered within the Medical Center. We provide support throughout UAMS’ main Medical Center grounds, including inpatient and outpatient centers.

Outside the Medical Center, please contact the following locations directly:

  • University, library and research locations
  • All other locations outside the main campus in midtown Little Rock

Where is this office located and what are the hours?

The Lost & Found Office is in the Center for Patients and Families on the first floor, near the Medical Center Gift Shop and the Discharge Desk.

Outside of business hours, weekends, holidays or office closures?

You are welcome to call the UAMS Police Department at 501-686-7777. If they are unable to assist, they will route all reports and messages to our office, and we will contact you during business hours.

How do I report a lost or found item?

  1. Online form to report items.
  2. Call or send an email to the Lost & Found office.
  3. Provide as much detail as possible (who, what, when and where).
  4. Provide your name and phone number. If more information is needed, we may need to contact you to clarify or confirm.

How do I get my belongings?

Call us at 501-526-4504 to confirm if your belongings have been turned in to our office. If the items have been turned in, we can make arrangements with you to retrieve them.

Items that are turned into the Lost & Found Office will be stored according to the following guidelines and donated or disposed of accordingly. All UAMS property/equipment, weapons, contraband and cash will be turned into the UAMS Police Department.
