The chapel serves UAMS Medical Center patients, family members, employees, and students as a non-denominational and interfaith “sacred space” for worship, prayer, and meditation.
Non-denominational services are held in the chapel each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Developed as a project of the UAMS Medical Center Pastoral Care Board, the chapel was funded by a major grant from the Walton Family Foundation, Inc. and gifts from members of the Board. The chapel is named in memory of Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart Stores and a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church.
Located on the first floor of the hospital near the lobby cafe.
