At the UAMS Breast Center at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, we believe that awareness saves lives. That’s why we’re proud to launch the Paint Arkansas Pink campaign, a statewide initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer and empower Arkansans. One in eight women in Arkansas will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Early detection increases survival rates dramatically.
This October, we’re not just wearing pink, we’re planting it in every yard, on every street, and in every community across Arkansas.
Our custom-designed Paint Arkansas Pink yard signs are more than decorations — they’re daily reminders of the importance of early detection, regular screenings, and the strength of survivors.
Place a yard sign in front of your home, business, school, or clinic. To get a yard sign, stop by the Office of Communications and Marketing at UAMS anytime Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or call 501-686-8992. Join the movement by sharing photos of your yard sign and stories on social media with the hashtag #PaintArkansasPink and tag @uamshealth.
With your help, we can transform pink signs into powerful symbols —of education, prevention, and support.
Let’s turn Arkansas pink — one yard at a time.
