MAY 25, 2007 | Ronald Winters, Ph.D., dean of the UAMS College of Health Related Professions (CHRP) recently received the Professional of the Year award from the College of Professional Studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
The award recognizes contributions to the community and the university. Previous award recipients include state Sen. Shane Broadway and Thomas Bruce, M.D., former dean of the UAMS College of Medicine and former dean pro tem of the UAMS Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health.
The CHRP Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology is operated jointly by UAMS and UALR. Winters is a fellow of the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professionals.
College of Professionals Studies Dean Angela Brenton, Ph.D., presented the award to Winters at UALR’s recent faculty awards event.
