SEPT. 13, 2001 | Drinks and dessert will be on the house for employees who attend a seminar about refractive eye surgery on Fri., Sept. 21.
The seminar will be 12-1 p.m. in the auditorium at the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute (JEI) on campus. (See map here.) Bring a lunch; JEI will provide drinks and desserts. Employees of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital will be welcome.
Participants will learn about refractive eye surgery, including discounts for employees, how the surgery works, its benefits, the healing process, the cost and methods of payment, and who may be a candidate for this type of surgery.
A free screening for anyone who is interested will follow the seminar.
