Dec. 18, 2000 | Learn about a popular new laser procedure that can reduce or eliminate the need for eyeglasses at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) on Jan. 22.


A popular new laser procedure, refractive eye surgery, can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism and can reduce or eliminate dependency on glasses or contacts in some patients. This procedure is available exclusively in Arkansas at the Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute (JEI) at UAMS.


The seminar about refractive eye surgery will be at 6 p.m., Mon., Jan. 22, in the auditorium on the second floor of JEI on the UAMS campus. Call 501-686-8891 to reserve a seat.
