College of Medicine Student Wins Little Rock Half Marathon

As Robbie Kiss finishes his fourth year as a UAMS College of Medicine student, he can look back on being the first runner on March 3 to cross another finish line to win the Little Rock Half Marathon. It was his third time competing in the race and his first win.

Spotlight on the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

A child receives hippotherapy through the Speech-Language Pathology Program. Hippotherapy is a treatment tool that uses equine movement to help with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing goals. It is a combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapy that involves placing clients on horses while providing intervention.

The UAMS Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Program is the only Au.D. program in Arkansas, dedicated to equipping students with the skills necessary to navigate the dynamic and evolving field of audiology healthcare.
