By ChaseYavondaC

The class, which will help participants install the Windows 10 upgrade, is scheduled for June 20 in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive in Little Rock. The charge for this personal computer upgrade is $50 and is estimated to take 2-3 hours to install. Participants are invited to drop off their computers or stay for the duration of the installation.

To take part in the class, the computer must be running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 and receiving pop-up messages from Microsoft indicating the PC qualifies for the Windows 10 upgrade. The computer must be dropped off at the SeniorNet classroom at UAMS and picked up by 4:30 p.m.

Laptops and desktops are eligible for this upgrade, but SeniorNet does not offer assistance reinstalling desktop PCs at home.

For more information, to register for the class and set up a time, call (501) 603-1262, or email Joan McKinstry at seniornetjoan2@gmail.com.
