Dec. 14, 2015 | Computer classes — Fundamentals for Beginners, File Management and Introduction to Computers — and special workshops — Windows 10 Start Menu and Windows 10 Microsoft Edge — will be taught in January for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Computer classes and workshops begin Jan. 5. They are:
- Fundamentals for Beginners, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Jan. 6-27, 10 a.m. to noon.
- File Management, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5-28, 10 a.m. to noon.
- Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 5-28, 1-3 p.m.
- Windows 10 Start Menu, Jan. 6, 1-2:30 p.m.
- Windows 10 Microsoft Edge, Jan. 11, 1-2:30 p.m.
Class fees range from $10 to $35, depending on the length of the class. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group. Classes are in Room 2156 at the UAMS Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive, Little Rock.
