UAMS to Host Teaching with Technology Symposium July 24-25
| LITTLE ROCK – Educators and students are invited to attend the third annual Teaching with Technology Symposium at the The symposium will begin at 9 a.m. July 24 with overviews of technologies available to enhance educators’ courses. On July 25, hands-on workshops will be held 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. All symposium events will be held in the UAMS Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health. Cost is $50 for one day, or $80 for both days. Student cost is $35 for one day and $55 for both days. Registration will be available at the door from 8 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. July 24, and 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. July 25. The symposium is designed for higher education and K-12 educators, corporate trainers and others who participate in technology-based education. Sessions will include topics on power point, synchronous technologies, design and podcasting. Vendors will be available to talk about their products, present demonstrations and hand out door prizes.
