Gynecologic Oncologist Stone Joins UAMS Faculty

LITTLE ROCK – Pamela JB Stone, M.D., a gynecologic oncologist, has joined the faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).


 


Research and clinical interests of Stone, an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the UAMS College of Medicine, include gynecologic cancer, abnormal pap smear, and ovarian, cervical and uterine cancer.


 


Stone received her medical degree in 1999 from the University of Minnesota. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2003 at the University of Iowa. She then completed fellowships in pelvic floor surgery at the University of Iowa and in gynecologic oncology at the University of Southern California.


 


UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with five colleges, a graduate school, a medical center, six centers of excellence and a statewide network of regional centers.
