Allan Ward, Ph.D., professor emeritus at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, will be the guest speaker with “The Sage in All of Us,” sharing his insights and wisdom about continuing to be a vital member of the community.
Ward retired from an award-winning teaching career at UALR in 2000 and is an author, lecturer and longtime community activist. He has an extensive background of multi-cultural awareness and community improvement efforts both locally and globally.
These competitive geriatric nursing externships are offered during the summer between students’ junior and senior years. Students train with nursing leaders, researchers and educators and work at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on
