Women’s Therapy and Rehabilitation

At UAMS, we understand the special needs of women. From the aches and pains experienced during pregnancy to special needs after your baby is delivered, our caring and compassionate specialists can guide you through all the changes your body experiences.

In particular, we can help with:

  • Prenatal care for back pain and pelvic pain
  • Fall prevention for changing body dynamics
  • Cesarean section recovery and scar management
  • Strengthening the pelvic floor to reduce and control incontinence during pregnancy or after a large delivery, episiotomy or tearing during delivery

Location

Women’s therapy and rehabilitation services are provided in the University Rehab Clinic located in the Jackson T. Stephens Spine and Neurosciences Institute, Level B.
