It is possible for people with vision limitations to continue to live independent and meaningful lives with the assistance of an occupational therapist. Using our services, you can improve your reading and writing abilities, meal preparation skills and personal finance management.

Low vision may be caused by:

A referral from your eye doctor or primary care physician is all that’s needed for an evaluation at UAMS. We will work closely with your doctor and create a therapy program designed specifically for your individual needs.

Medicare and most private insurances will reimburse for low vision occupational therapy services.
