Our Jones Eye Institute is one of only 20 free-standing comprehensive centers in the nation, devoted to the treatment and study of the eye. Ensuring the best eye care in the future, our professional eye care specialists are dedicated to treating and correcting your eye and vision problems.
You can request an appointment online through myUAMShealth or you can call 501-686-5822. Your primary care physician will need to provide a referral for an appointment to the Jones Eye Institute for many conditions. For other conditions, we recommend you check with your insurance company before your appointment regarding procedures for referrals.
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.
For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.
Please call the clinic at 501-686-5822, or you can request prescription refills during your appointment. If you originally filled your prescription at the UAMS Outpatient Pharmacy, you can also refill your prescription online.
