How do I request a prescription refill or contact a nurse from the clinic?
Please ask your pharmacy to send a refill request to our clinic, or you can request prescription refills during your appointment. If you originally filled your prescription at the UAMS Outpatient Pharmacy, you can also refill your prescription online using MyChart.

Parking is available in Parking Deck 3 at the corner of Cedar and Capitol. Valet parking is available in front of the Outpatient Center for a fee.Get Directions
Directions From the Parking Area
- Go to level 3A in the parking deck and take the bridge to the first floor of the Outpatient Center Building.
- Take a left past the pharmacy. The clinic will be directly in front of you. For more information, visit the information desk in the Outpatient Center lobby.
Some services in the Orthopedics Clinic require a referral for an appointment. Please call the clinic directly to find out if a referral is required before you make an appointment.
Although UAMS does not require a physician referral for some services in this clinic, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider before requesting an appointment.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including X-rays related to your visit and slides or test results from other clinics.
For future appointments, please provide copies of X-rays and any additional updated medical and insurance information.
