UAMS strongly recommends everyone over age 16 get a COVID vaccine as soon as possible. If you have any of these conditions, you can get very sick or even die if you get COVID-19.

- Older than 65
- Heart disease
- High blood pressure
- Kidney disease
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Organ transplants
- Certain medicines
The best way to make sure you stay healthy is for everyone to get a COVID vaccine. Talk with your health care provider about how you and your family can get the vaccine at UAMS. Everyone with you (age 16 and older) can get a shot today. You do not have to be a UAMS patient. There is no cost to you for the vaccine.

It’s Quick and Easy to Get Your Vaccine at UAMS
- Go to the Walk-in Vaccine Clinic on the 2nd Floor of the Outpatient Center. The clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You do not need an appointment to get your vaccine.
