Condition: Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition where excessive bacteria grow in the small intestine, an area of the gut that normally has much fewer bacteria than the large intestine.

Common Symptoms of SIBO:

  • Malabsorption (leading to deficiencies like B12, iron, or fat-soluble vitamins)
  • Bloating and gas
  • Abdominal pain or discomfort
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Nausea
  • Unintentional weight loss
  • Fatigue
