Condition: Esophagogastric Junction Outflow Obstruction

Esophagogastric Junction Outflow Obstruction (EGJOO) is a motility disorder where the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) doesn’t relax properly, making it harder for food and liquid to pass from the esophagus into the stomach — but unlike achalasia, the esophageal muscle contractions are still present (at least somewhat normal).
