Pink Glove Dance – Breast Cancer Awareness
UAMS and Little Rock Trojans Need Votes to Win up to $15,000 to Benefit Breast Cancer Research
At UAMS, we’re excited to participate in the Pink Glove Dance, a competition to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Videos are posted on the Pink Glove Dance website and are judged on the basis of votes they receive. Voters are eligible to vote once a day per e-mail address. Please use multiple e-mail addresses to vote, and share with your family and friends through your social media accounts!
To help us raise awareness for breast cancer detection and research, vote daily:
- Voting begins on Monday, September 12
- Voting ends on Friday, September 23
Team UAMS members are glad to join forces with basketball teams from sister institution the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) along with your favorite media personalities from local news stations.
About Pink Glove
After starting with one video in 2009, hospitals around the country now participate in this competition, which taps into the creativity, joy and hard work of caregivers from coast to coast. Prizes are awarded as donations to breast cancer charities in the name of the winners.
If UAMS is awarded any prize money, all funds will benefit Susan G. Komen Arkansas, a consistent supporter of UAMS researchers.
