Michael Cucciare, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UAMS. He is trained as a clinical psychologist and treats perinatal women with opioid use disorder in the UAMS Women’s Mental Health Program. He has expertise in evidence-based mental health interventions for treating substance use disorders including relapse prevention, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. He is also an addiction health services research with over 10 years of federal funding.
