For the 2nd year in a row, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) ranks nationally on an annual list of Best Employers for Diversity created by Forbes magazine:

– 4th among educational organizations nationally
– The highest ranked Arkansas company on the list,
– and the only one in the Top 100.

The rankings are based on independent surveys of more than 60,000 people in workplaces of more than 1,000 employees. Employees were asked to give their opinion on their employer’s general diversity as well as questions regarding age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability and LGBTQ+ issues.
