With age, the brows descend from their normal position. This can be a cosmetic concern, making the face look older. It can also result in a functional concern if it causes excess skin of the upper eyelid to obstruct vision. There are a variety of techniques to elevate the brow position, from simple botulinum toxin injection to surgical elevation. This procedure may be combined with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) in some cases.
