Rock Town Bacon Throwdown Sept. 20 at War Memorial Stadium
LITTLE ROCK — Tickets are on sale now for the second annual Rock Town Bacon Throwdown, to be held from 1-4:30 p.m., Sept. 20 at War Memorial Stadium, a competition featuring local professional chefs serving their best bacon creations in a cook-off contest to benefit patients at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center.

Bacon Throwdown Raises Money for Patient Fund
The first Rock Town Bacon Throwdown at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock featured 10 local professional chefs all serving samples of dishes that included bacon as an ingredient. Proceeds from the event, hosted by the UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary’s Aux Crew of young professionals, will go to the UAMS Patient Support Fund.
