UAMS to Demonstrate Cosmetic Services During Free Seminar
| LITTLE ROCK — The public is invited to attend a free demonstration and educational seminar of cosmetic services March 28 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
The seminar, to be held at the UAMS Family Medical Center at 521 Jack Stephens Drive, is part of the UAMS Preventive, Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program.
Mark T. Jansen, M.D., associate professor of the College of Medicine’s Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, will host the interactive event in two sessions at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Jansen will discuss physician-administered services that can add volume and fullness to skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. A live injection demonstration will take place during each session along with a question-and-answer period.

Among the services the program provides are executive physicals, flu vaccinations, travel immunizations, cosmetic services, pre-employment physicals, fitness-for-duty examinations and driving assessments.
