UAMS Names Michael Manley Director of Clinical Service Integration and Development

Michael Manley

As director, Manley helps formulate, develop and implement strategies and policies to extend University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) innovations in patient care to the entire state. He leads in the development of new ways to integrate technology into patient care, directs outreach and provider relations activities and serves as a communicator of strategies and initiatives to provider partners and health care communities.

Manley received his master’s degree in nursing administration from the UAMS Graduate School in 2009 and bachelor’s degree in nursing from the UAMS College of Nursing in 1990.

Since 2003 and until accepting his new position, Manley worked as outreach director for the UAMS Center for Distance Health.  He also served as director of the Arkansas Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support (AR SAVES) program starting in November 2012.

UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a hospital; a northwest Arkansas regional campus; a statewide network of regional centers; and seven institutes: the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute, the Myeloma Institute, the Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute, the Psychiatric Research Institute, the Donald W.
