UAMS’ Kenneday Chosen President-Elect of American Society of Healthcare Engineering

Kenneday has 28 years experience in health facility management and also serves as chairman of the ASHE Advocacy Committee
ASHE is professional association that is part of the American Hospital Association. With more than 10,500 members, it is the advocate and resource for improvement in health care engineering and facilities management.

Kenneday received a bachelor’s degree in construction management and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Houston. Before coming to UAMS in 2008, Kenneday was director of building care and operations at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Before that he was director of facilities operations at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
