UAMS Names Erin Gray Director of Volunteer Services

Gray will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating a group of more than 170 hospital volunteers. The volunteers assist UAMS patients and visits while also staffing the hospital’s Family Resource Center and other activities.

In addition, Gray will support activities of the UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary, the Auxiliary’s board, the Family Resource Center and the Pet-Assisted Therapy Program.

She brings more than 10 years’ experience in public relations, project management, nonprofit development and administration to UAMS. Prior to joining UAMS, Gray served three years as financial and human resources administrator at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock.

Gray received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Fla.

UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Related Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a 540,000-square-foot hospital; a statewide network of regional centers; and six institutes: the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, the Jackson T.
