Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Joins UAMS
| LITTLE ROCK – Barbera Honnebier, M.D., Ph.D., a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is now seeing patients at UAMS.
Honnebier, also an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine, specializes in cleft and craniofacial reconstruction and performs general reconstructive procedures. She has completed three fellowships:
• Craniofacial Surgery, University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia
• Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Oregon Health & Sciences University, Portland, Ore.
• Hand and Micro Surgery, Oregon Health & Sciences University
Honnebier received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a doctorate in medicine from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She completed a general surgery residency and internship at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She is an American Board of Surgery diplomate and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
