UAMS Sets May Computer Classes for People 50 and Up
| LITTLE ROCK – Genealogy, File Management, Introduction to Computers, and Beginner Fundamentals will be taught in May for people ages 50 and older at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging.
Classes are two hours and begin May 2. They are:
• Beginner Fundamentals, Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m.
• Genealogy, Mondays and Wednesdays, noon.
• File Management, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m.
• Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays and Thursday, noon.
The monthly cost is $40 per course for individuals and $65 for couples. An optional textbook is $15. The program is administered by SeniorNet, a nonprofit volunteer group.
