UAMS Names Development Director for College of Medicine

Conque joins UAMS from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) where he led development activities for the Department of Athletics for four years. While there, he oversaw the inception of SpectacUALR, the largest fundraising event in UALR history, raising $382,000 its first two years.

Prior to joining the Department of Athletics, Conque was manager of donor relations in the UALR Development Office.

At UAMS, Conque will work with College of Medicine department chairs and faculty to raise private support for the college.

Conque earned a degree in finance from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Business Administration at UALR.

UAMS is the state’s only comprehensive academic health center, with colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Related Professions and Public Health; a graduate school; a 540,000-square-foot hospital; a statewide network of regional centers; and six institutes: the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute, the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, the Harvey & Bernice Jones Eye Institute, the Psychiatric Research Institute and the Donald W.
