Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology

At UAMS, we understand the strong desire some women have to have a baby. While some couples are able to conceive a child easily, many couples experience infertility. Our caring, compassionate and experienced fertility expert, Dr. Gloria Richard-Davis, offers a wide range of services to help your dreams become a reality.

From your first visit, we provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art testing and treatment. Using the vast resources of Arkansas’ only academic medical center, we tailor medical care to fit your individual needs.

Once your fertility evaluation is completed, a consultation visit is scheduled to review all results and discuss a plan of management. We offer a range of services to treat all fertility problems, such as problems with ovulation, tubal factor and male infertility. Depending on fertility problems one or more of the following treatments may be recommended.

If a surgical procedure is needed to treat your medical condition, we offer the latest minimally invasive procedures so that you can return to your regular activities as quickly as possible. Laparoscopic (also known as bandaid) surgery is the most commonly used approach to diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as endometriosis associated with infertility. Other minimally invasive surgeries such as hysteroscopy is also offered.

UAMS treats a wide range of conditions, including:
