Women’s Mental Health Clinic
At UAMS, our caring and compassionate specialists offer a wide range of services to increase your quality of life.
The integration of mind, body and spirit is an important goal for women’s health, yet various life events may negatively affect your ability to achieve such balance.
Postpartum depression, miscarriage, loss, major transitions, illness and other physical changes may overwhelm your ability to cope and may place you at risk for depression, anxiety, grief or other emotional responses that disrupt daily living. At UAMS, we are here to help where you are pregnant and struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues or a woman who is having difficulty getting pregnant.
The Women’s Mental Health Clinic is a self-referral clinic. Although UAMS does not require a referral for this clinic, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider prior to requesting an appointment.
