Being an Effective Parent during the Toddler and Preschool Years

The Center for Effective Parenting in the UAMS Department of Pediatrics will host its next free parenting class, “Being an Effective Parent During the Toddler and Preschool Years” from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10. These classes are held at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in the ACH South Campus Brandon Conference Center (located one block south of the main hospital). Parking is available across the street from the Brandon Conference Center.
This seminar, presented by Nicholas Long, Ph.D., is designed for parents of toddlers and preschoolers. The focus will be on discussing various parenting issues, including discipline, sleep problems, sibling rivalry, children and television, injury prevention, and developing the basic building blocks for reading.
All classes are free but participants must register in advance online at the Eventbrite sign up page.
